Chef Biography
Everett Reid trained at the Culinary Institute, then traveled to London to study at the Cordon Bleu before returning to work his way up the kitchen ladder in New York and Boston restaurants.
In 1985, Chef Reid and his wife, Linda, opened American Seasons Restaurant on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts. In October 1992, the Great Chefs television team showed up at American Seasons to tape Chef Reid for the Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs of the East television series, where he appeared in episodes 16 and 17.
He and his wife later sold American Seasons, opened L & E Restaurant, and then opened Good Elephant Bistro. More recently, they merged the two and remain at the Good Elephant Bistro as of the year 2016.
