Chef Biography

Lisa Siu graduated from Maui Community College in 1978, specializing in food service. She went to work for the Club Corporation of America as a pastry chef in 1979, and moved around to their different clubs from Hawaii, to Dallas, to Costa Mesa and Oakland over the next thirteen years.

In 1993, she and her husband, Russell, opened 3660 On the Rise restaurant in Honolulu and in 1996, the Great Chefs television team taped her for their Great Chefs of Hawaii series which aired over the Discovery Channel. In 2015, the restaurant was rated as one of the 10 Best in Hawaii.
