Chef Biography

Pastry Chef Patrick Pomares is one of those chefs who didn’t reveal much information about his background when the Great Chefs television team showed up in September of 1998 to tape he and Great Chef Jean-Michel Lorain at La Côte St Jacques for the Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs of the World (Chef Pomares is featured in episode # 178).

Chef Pomares left shortly thereafter in 2000 to work for Chef David Chauvac in Mougins at the Mas Candille but he has recently “disappeared” again, and none of his former employers know what happened to him.  We wish Chef Pomares well, wherever he might be.
