Stephanie Quigley was born and raised in Minnesota and attended the University of Florida. During school, she worked in pastry at various restaurants, and in 1982 joined the staff of the Governors Club as pastry cook.
She became a Certified Pastry Chef in 1989 and in 1996, the Great Chefs team showed up at the Governors Club to tape Chef Quigley preparing a Gâteau d’Orange for the Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs of America series. (Chef Quigley is featured in episode #116 of that series.)
