Chef Biography

Craig Doyle was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from El Centro College in Dallas, he apprenticed in several restaurants before joining the Juniper Restaurant in Dallas as chef de cuisine in 1992.

In 1993, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia as chef de cuisine at the City Grill. Great Chefs taped Chef Doyle at the City Grill in 1995 for the Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs – Great Cities television series.

In 1997, he became executive chef at the Killer Creek Restaurant in Alpharetta, Georgia for the next three years, until 2001, when Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Dallas, offered to bring him home as executive chef. Chef Doyle left Ruth’s Chris earlier this year (2016) to be executive chef and general manager of Hub Streat Food Port in Plano, Texas.
