Chef Biography

Heather Carlin was born in 1968 and graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.  Afterwards, she apprenticed as catering manager for Virginia Tech’s catering department.  Three years later she moved to Hawaii to work under pastry chef, Casey Lodgson, at Roy’s Kahana Bar & Grill.

In 1993 she moved over to David Paul’s Lahaina Grill as pastry chef, and in December 1994 the Great Chefs television team showed up to tape her for their Great Chefs of Hawaii television series (episode 25).
