Chef Biography

Philippa Esposito graduated from Park College in Cheltenham, England in 1980 and went right to work as a commis chef at the Park Hotel in Brunnen, Switzerland, then back to England to work at Noah’s Ark in Oxford, England.

In 1983, she moved to Antigua to become part owner and chef at Columbo’s Italian restaurant for two more years.  In 1985, she and her husband Raffaele, opened the French Bistro, Le Bistro on the island. When Great Chefs showed up in 1997 to film for their Great Chefs of the Caribbean series, Philippa jumped in as pastry chef and prepared 1 dessert, which can now be seen on the Great Chefs Channel and Food Planet Channel.
