Chef Biography
John Rhymer was born and raised on St. John. He was hired as a breakfast cook in 1965, then went to the Culinary Institute in New York, where he graduated in 1971. He then returned to St. John, was hired by the Little Dix Bay Resort, and has worked his way up to executive pastry chef.
In 1998, Great Chefs television was producing the Great Chefs of the Caribbean series and taped chef Rhymer at that time.
