Greg Guy is currently a Chef at the Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort and Spa on the beautiful island of St. Croix U.S.V.I. offering a bistro style menu with a beautiful ocean view as well as the Mahogany Terrace, a fine dinning option for guests. Chef Greg is a proud graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu where he received associates degree in applied science.
As Chef Greg says “my career started when I began culinary school”, however his first cooking job was in a bowling alley snack bar in his home town of Fairbanks, Alaska at age fifteen. Chef Greg has worked along side award winning chefs; Richard Biechner, Juan Martinez, and Pascal Coudouy, with companies Destination Hotels and Resorts and the Hyatt’s 8100 restaurant. Chef Greg Guy has prepared dinners for a number of celebrities, two Vice Presidents, Dick Chaney and Joe Biden. He is currently writing an autobiography titled “Snack Bar to Four Star”, about his travels and experiences as a culinarian.
